Do you Waltz?

Do you sway and dip, do you glide and fall in line with the beat, rising up and down, in circles round the room?

We listen to a bit of everything here and when I found Andre Rieu I fell madly in love, such a divergence from what we have been listening to lately but reminds me of home.  I was raised on the classics, I didn’t know what rock and roll was until I left home.  I was also taught to waltz and I had forgotten what a workout it is for your calves and thighs:)

So today I downloaded some new music and I taught my children to waltz. I firmly believe that the waltz, the classic waltz is one of the most beautiful things on earth.

We also went to the library for a little lesson on butterflies, moths and dragonflies. I forgot my camera. Trust me when I say I was not happy with my naughty self. Bad Kristal. Bad. Fortunately I remembered in during the craft that I had my cell phone on me:)

Everyone receiving instructions.

My kids wearing there t shirts.

Last night we went to see Shrek The final chapter, it was okay. Joff is the Shrek lover in our family, although I do confess to a soft spot for Puss in Boots. An adorable kitty with Antonio Banderas voice, what is there not to love?:D

We are busy and that is good. Given a choice I would as soon stay home huddled in a corner with a box of chocolate ice cream and a good book, but my kids need to see the outside of there little world and come the fall we will be out way, way less and so this run around stuff we do in the summer  assuages my guilt.

Tomorrow I sit through three dentist appointments. Three. On Thursday I sit thru two more.

I am not entirely sure I was thinking clearly when I had kids, if I had known that dentist appointments where part of the package………

I love my children, repeat I love my children.

And as not to end on a somewhat serious note…..look what I found that made me laugh today.

(This last one was found on Ravenclan, the cats of shadows, go look if you want a good laugh)

The 4th of July

We had a great 4th celebrations at the A’s house (grandma and grandpa’s house:)).

Jarom and Patty made that pinata! His name is (was) Oscar. Poor Oscar.

Turn down your volume a bit, I didn’t edit this and the sound is loud!

Happy 4th of July

Random #1910 (And a Tangled clip)

Staying up late again. Bad Girl.

Just finished watching 28 days and surprised myself by really liking it.

Caleb came crying into the house today, mommy, daddy shot me! Actually Joff was mowing the lawn and Caleb was naughty and went to close to the lawnmower, so sad but kind of funny at the same time. (And he is totally okay, not even a scratch).

I heard the song Warwick Avenue by Duffy the yesterday and it is now lodged, lodged in my brain. Help.

#1910 is really a combo of my favorite ages, 10 was a good year for me and 19 because technically you are still a kid but also an adult, best of both worlds, although I very much think I am going to like 27, I am not entirely sure why. It just sounds good I guess.

Tomorrow is Sunday. Church. I might need to a 9-5 job to cure me of my weekend hate. Okay I don’t hate Sunday, well lately church has been hard, not spiritually (well that but that is a whole ‘nother story) but with different stuff. Natalie stuff. Life stuff. I am such a recluse.

Stuff.

This is a movie I am really excited about watching. The Smolder part, oh. my .gosh. 😀

Funny but true, Joff didn’t get it and I told him that supposedly the Smolder is hotter than anything else on the planet. Or the funniest thing on the planet. Either way. (North and South, Look back at me…….Anyone?)

Natalie · Youtube

Today a week ago we found that Natalie’s heart had stopped. That she had died sometime in the previous week. That life had changed. Today at 11:35 I cried, I cried because a week ago I was carrying her and keeping her safe only to find that she was no longer in my care. I love you Natalie, mommy loves you, I miss you. Kisses.

Did I mention that I DIDN’T like mud?

Oh ya, 55 degree’s the kids are out making mud pies like summer will never come. At least in the summer time after a healthy mud and worms cooking class they can be dipped in the pool before the come inside. I am so glad they are having so much fun:)

Katie and Alice decided to put a rock and roll (lol) spin on Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Shot with the  D300s, the video is a bonus, not something I even wanted but as it turns out something I am very much loving.

Argggggg

I wrote that already on Facebook. But I am still feeling Arggggggish.

I have learned a very important lesson in my old, old age (laugh, I dare you) I have learned to “let go”. I was never much of a keeper in the first place, but I am very good at worrying about everything and now I don’t. As much. Just a little. Tiny bit.

So without a single yoga mat or zen master in sight I have offered up a very sincere “whatever”. It feels good. Happy. No I don’t do the clicking heels thing, hate that.  So there is one argggggggg down.

Argggggg number two, I don’t have a certain amount of argggggs for the day. Sometimes arggggggs can be infinite, which might account for the eye-patch I got for Christmas. Anyway. Whatever. Pointless posts are so much fun.

Apparently these moods don’t come to me alone, my wonderful sil sent me this. Enjoy.

Arggggggggg!
